Responsive CSS Testimonial Carousel

Description

An Owl carousel plugin is used to create this testimonial slider. The HTML structure is meticulously organized, primarily within a <section> tag containing a div with the class customer-feedback. This section is the heart of the carousel, where individual testimonials are displayed. Each testimonial is encapsulated in a div with the class feedback-slider-item, which includes essential elements such as an image (<img> tag for the client’s photo), client’s name and designation in <h3> and <p> tags respectively, and the testimonial text in another <p> tag.c

The JavaScript section of the file, leveraging jQuery, is what brings the carousel to life. It initializes the OwlCarousel with specific options set for items displayed, autoplay features, loop settings, and responsiveness. The script also handles events for the carousel, such as updating the navigation thumbnails (thumb-prev and thumb-next) as the carousel moves.

CSS3 Testimonial Slider

Description

This slider is a great example of a CSS-driven interactive component, showcasing testimonials in a dynamic and engaging way without relying on JavaScript for the core functionality. It demonstrates advanced CSS techniques like pseudo-classes, sibling combinators, and transitions, offering a clean, responsive, and accessible user experience.

Html Structure

entral to the slider’s functionality is the use of radio inputs (<input type="radio" name="nav">) in the HTML, ingeniously utilized as navigation controls for the slider. These inputs, in combination with corresponding <label> elements, facilitate user interaction without the need for JavaScript. Each testimonial is contained within a <div class="slide">, which includes a <blockquote> for the testimonial text, an <img> for the reviewer’s photo, and <h2> and <h6> tags for the reviewer’s name and designation. This structure is not only semantically meaningful but also ensures that the content is accessible and logically organized.

CSS Styling

The CSS magic happens with the :checked pseudo-class applied to these radio inputs. For instance, when a radio button (say, with the id second) is selected, CSS selectors like #second:checked ~ .two blockquote come into play. These selectors dynamically alter the styling of the corresponding testimonial, such as changing its background color. The .slide class, crucial for the sliding animation, employs absolute positioning and CSS transitions to create a smooth and visually appealing sliding effect.

CSS Vertical Testimonial Carousel

Description

this Vertical Testimonial Carousel is a blend of well-structured HTML, stylish CSS, and dynamic JavaScript with TweenMax.js animations. It’s a prime example of how advanced web development techniques can be used to create an interactive and visually appealing web component.

Html Structure

The HTML structure centers around a <div class="slider-wrap"> containing the carousel <div id="card-slider" class="slider">. Within this carousel, individual testimonial slides are created using <div class="slider-item">. Each of these items includes an image container for the reviewer’s photo (<div class="animation-card_image"> with an <img> tag) and a content container (<div class="animation-card_content">) for the testimonial text and reviewer’s location. This structure ensures a neat and coherent presentation of each testimonial.

CSS Styling

The CSS styling plays a pivotal role in the visual appeal of the carousel. It starts by adding a gradient background for the body and then proceeds to define the dimensions and appearance of the .slider-wrap and .slider. The styling of .slider-item is crucial – it includes specific dimensions, padding, background color, and box-shadow, all contributing to the attractive appearance of the testimonial cards. The use of Flexbox for layout within each card ensures that the image and text are beautifully aligned.

JavaScript

The carousel’s captivating animation effects are powered by JavaScript in conjunction with TweenMax.js. The script gathers all .slider-item elements into an array and uses TweenMax to animate them, creating a seamless vertical sliding effect. Functions like startAnim and sortArray control the movement and sequencing of the slides, ensuring a continuous and engaging display of testimonials. The use of TweenMax’s animation methods (fromTo and to) adds sophistication to the transitions, making the carousel not just a display of content but also a visually interactive element on the webpage.

Description

This showcases a sophisticated approach to creating a testimonial slider using SwiperJS, a popular JavaScript library for interactive sliders. The core of this design lies in its two-part structure within the testimonial-section. The first part, defined by the testi-user-img div, utilizes <div class="swiper-container gallery-thumbs"> to present a series of images corresponding to the testimonials. These images are laid out as individual slides (<div class="swiper-slide">) within the Swiper container, creating a visually appealing carousel of images.

The second part, encapsulated in the user-saying div, is the textual component of the testimonials. Here, <div class="swiper-container testimonial"> houses the content, with each testimonial wrapped in <div class="swiper-slide">. This setup ensures that as the user navigates through the images in the gallery-thumbs, the associated testimonial text in the user-saying section synchronizes accordingly. The synchronization is achieved through JavaScript, where two Swiper instances (galleryThumbs and galleryTop) are initialized and linked. This linkage allows the image slider (galleryThumbs) to control the text slider (galleryTop), ensuring a cohesive and interactive user experience.
